Uncovered Conditions by Warranty

1. Tire damage and abrasion:
Normal tire frazzles and abrasions are not covered by warranty. Tire damages caused by the road conditions such as pothole, steps, stone on roadside and other effects resulting in puncture, dissever, rupture and blowout of tires are not covered by warranty. Tire damages and abrasions caused by wrong tire pressure, high speed rotate without load _e.g. in snow or mud_, installation of anti-skip chain, racing car, incorrect assembly or disassembly are not covered by warranty.

2. Damage or corrosion due to environment and chemical treatment:
Damages or corrosions caused by radioactive dusts_ such as chemicals and tree saps_, acid rain, stones, hail, earthquake, water flood, windstorm, lightening and incorrect uses of chemicals or sealants are not covered by warranty.

3. Vehicle malfunction or part damage caused by fuel quality:
Vehicle malfunctions or part damages caused by using lead fuel or bad quality fuel_ e.g. fuel includes carbinol or percentage of alcohol is over 10% or percentage of alkene, sulfur, tar is over PRC standard or index of octane, oxygen quantum, iron quantum or sheet copper erosion quotiety are not qualified_ are not covered by warranty.

4. Damage due to accident, incorrect use or alteration is not covered by warranty:
Damages or defects caused by any of the following are not covered by warranty:
• Collision, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, or objects striking the vehicle caused by accidents.
• Misuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing, etc.
• Vehicle damage or invalidation caused by customers or third party through refit, installation, alteration or modification of parts to the final assembled vehicle including alternations of body, chassis and other components.

5. Maintenance of vehicle:
Cost of parts for periodical maintenance and labor costs hereunder shall be charged to customers rather than covered by warranty. Maintenance of vehicle includes but not limited to alternation of filters, sparkplugs, brake discs or brake pads, bulbs, wiper blades, tires, belts and other maintenance items.

6. Damage due to insufficient or improper maintenance:
Damages or defects caused by failure to follow the requirements of the vehicle maintenance schedule interval, maintenance proper levels of fluids, lubricants and fuel, use of improper fuel, lubricants, oil as recommended in the Maintenance Manual or Owner’s Manual are not covered by warranty. BMW authorized sales center recommends customers having maintenance and repair work performed by BMW authorized service center. Normal maintenance work is confirmed in the service booklet after it has been carried out. These entries are evidence that your car has been maintained regularly and correctly.

7. Damage caused by improper repair:
Damages or malfunctions may directly or indirectly caused by and in connection with improper repairs performed outside BMW authorized service center are not covered by warranty.

8. Damage caused by using non-Original BMW parts and accessories:
Damages or malfunctions directly or indirectly caused by using non-Original BMW parts and accessories are not covered by warranty. BMW authorized sales center recommends customers using only Original BMW parts and accessories as well as other products on this vehicle that are specifically approved for this purpose by BMW. Customers are recommended to consult with BMW authorized service center to purchase Original BMW parts and accessories as well as other BMW approved products or obtain professional advice on all related matters.

9. Extra expense: Economic loss or extra expense caused by nonuse of vehicle is not covered by warranty.
Examples include but not limited to:
• Economic or time loss caused by incapability of vehicle use
• Storage fee
• Vehicle rental expense
• Lodging, meals or other costs on travel
• Damage caused by inconvenience

10. Mileage is a key information of vehicle, once been artificially revised, the vehicle will no longer be under guarantee.
