How to find maintenance information.
Service for non-CBS models
Owners of non-CBS models will find a maintenance indicator on the dashboard showing the remaining miles before the next scheduled maintenance service. A green alert light additionally tells you the time left before the next scheduled maintenance service. Orange and red lights and informational alerts (Replace Engine Oil, Check Vehicle, etc.) work together to remind you of your next scheduled maintenance time. If the orange alert light comes on, please contact your BMW dealer. With your BMW key (for models after September 1999), service engineers can access necessary maintenance information immediately.
