BMW Roadster Heritage.

BMW Roadster was born for dynamic pleasure, with a history dating back to the 1930s. In 1930, BMW presented the first real Roadster: The BMW 3/15 Wartburg.

BMW 328 Roadster.

Born in 1936, the BMW 328 Roadster was the fastest vehicle in its class and defined the beginning of the Roadster’s legend. The invincible BMW 328 changed the face of Roadsters at that time and was a milestone in the history of BMW.

BMW 507.

In the mid 1950s, BMW achieved another spectacular success. The BMW 507, whose owners including Elvis Presley, impressed a great number of people on first sight. It was not only the dream car of the age, but remains so today.

BMW Z1.

In 1989, BMW Roadster stepped into the “Z Century” with the birth of the BMW Z1. Thanks to its streamlined profile and state-of-the-art technology, the BMW Z1 was a pioneer.

BMW Z3.

In the year 1996, the debut of the BMW Z3 began a Roadster craze. The combination of dynamic design and its classic feel soon placed the BMW Z3 in the spotlight, and it even became Bond’s choice of vehicle car in the James Bond movie released at that time. The BMW Z3 expressed the core concept of BMW perfectly - Sheer Driving Pleasure.

BMW Z8 Roadster.

The BMW Z8 was introduced in 1999. In a world of sharp-edged, angular sports cars, BMW Z8 is romantically curvaceous but was also a new challenger to racing cars. With 400 horsepower, the V8 engine accelerated BMW Z8 from a standing start to 100 kilometres in less than 5 seconds.

BMW Z4 Roadster.

The BMW Roaster was full of energy, passion and pleasure since its beginning. As the new interpretation of the classic roadster, the BMW Z4 not only inherited the tradition of Roadster, but also delighted the new century.
