Keep track of your surroundings during difficult manoeuvres: The rear view camera clearly shows the area behind the vehicle as a deskewed, 120-degree wide-angle image on the Control Display. Interactive guidelines indicate, for example, if a parking space is large enough for the vehicle. If the BMW has a tow bar, the image area is enlarged, allowing you to dock without the help of another person. The rear view camera is automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged (in conjunction with a navigation system).
