Navigation system.

Convenience plus speed: the optional Professional navigation system with GPS provides easy-to-follow directions, either as voice instruction or as arrows and/or a route map on the high-resolution 16:9 colour screen. The 8.8-inch screen can be set to split-screen mode, so that the route map is displayed on one side and the arrow direction on the other. All destinations are stored on a DVD or CD-ROM.

Bluetooth interface.

Unlimited, voice-controlled communication and maximum comfort: the preparation for mobile phones with a Bluetooth interface and hands-free controls is compatible with a range of different makes of mobile phone, which can all be connected effortlessly using phone-specific adaptors. The phone system is activated via the multifunction steering wheel and voice control feature, and the external aerial ensures you can always contact the outside world when on the open road.

USB / audio interface.

The universal connection point: the option USB audio interface lets you connect practically any audio device into the BMW 6 Series Convertible's sound system. Standard MP3 players connect via the USB port. The auxiliary input (AUX IN) socket lets you connect devices via a cable from their headphone socket – from DAT recorders to minidisc players.
